Chevrolet's Marketing Channels Part I

Marketing Channel a set of independent organization that ease the transfer of ownership as products move from producer to business user or consumer. Chevrolet Motor Company is an organization that deals directly with a direct channel which consists the producer selling straight to the consumer with no middleman. For example, a Chevrolet has dealerships and sells its products which are automobiles straight to the consumer (buyer). Chevrolet Motor Company is an organization that has of strong global production but, is still a direct channel business. A direct channel is a distribution channel in which producers sell directly to consumers. Chevrolet Motor Company is part of a strategic channel alliance is a cooperative agreement between business firms to use the others already established distribution channel, Chevrolet Motor Company is part of the General Motors Conglomerate.
