About 4 years ago the Chevrolet Motor Company had brought out the Aveo, Cobalt, and the HHR which is a mini-van in a Detroit Car show 4 years ago. This new line have cars have not been to effective in sales, but at the car show the Camaro concept was there and caught everyone's attention. The feed back for the vehicle was amazing and went into mass production and was released this passed spring. The next new products that will be extended to Chevrolet's current product line will be these three new vehicles which are 2011 Cruze, 2011 Volt and then 2011 Spark which are Eco-friendly and are Flex-fuel vehicles. Flex fuel is a lot cheaper than the gasoline that we currently use and will decrease the need for oil overseas and slow down the pollution that are plagued with all the vehicles that we drive in America. Flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) are specially designed to run on gasoline or any blend of up to 85% ethanol (E85) which is better than regular and or any of the gas that is currently used. This is a new product that will surely catch attention of many current consumers and new ones to come. Chevrolet introduced the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro in Transformers & Transformers 2 and the feed back the company got from critics were more than impressive, this was an example of test marketing done perfectly. The Camaro is still going through its growth stage due to the poor economy, the Camaro will be in the third Transformers that will be out July 1st, 2011.

Chevrolet's vehicles can also be known as a shopping product because you can compare their vehicles to other expensive companies and come to realization that you get more in Chevrolet's vehicles for less the price than going an expensive route such as foreign vehicles like Audi and BMW. This is a good incentive for consumers who are looking for a deal with benefits. Another sales promotion are coupons, yet Chevrolet does not participate in this form of promotions.

Public relations is the marketing function that evaluates public attitude, identifies areas within a organization the public maybe interested in, and executes a program of action to earn public understanding and acceptance. Chevrolet motor company using public relations to help its organization communicate with customers, suppliers, stock holders, government officials, employees and the community which it operates in. Chevrolet always has new concept cars which they display at every car show yearly. They show the new car, explain the specs of the cars and while doing this, they give a survey from consumers asking their opinion about each display model. With this, they take the information from the consumers and apply it to their goal of mass production in the event they receive high ratings on their cars. This is a form of public relations that is used to promote Chevrolet products.

Back in 2006, Chevrolet teamed up with NBC's show The Apprentice which had a contest advertising their new 2006 Chevy Tahoe. Consumers visited a special Chevy website were they had the opportunity to arrange music clips and videos in order to create their own commercial. Consumers with the best commercial would win a new Chevy Tahoe as a reward. Unfortunately, this goal backfired due to the negative feedback towards this form of advertisement. It showed that Chevrolet did factor possible downfalls for the use of its commercials and showcase of the Tahoe. Advertising is a form of impersonal, paid communication in which the sponsor or company is identified.

Chevrolet Motor Company has many different approaches to get the consumers into the store and that is referred to as direct marketing (direct-response marketing), is techniques used to get consumers to make a purchase from their home, office, or another non-retail setting. Many vehicle companies have went on the internet so people can purchase vehicles online and have it delivered to the consumer's homes. Chevrolet has changed so much from what it used to be many years ago. In order to be a good retailer you must provide great products and services, Chevrolet has definitely reached that level of customer satisfaction. Chevrolet Motor Company definitely knows what retailing really is.

They have gone outside of their environment and opened up new markets in Canada and Mexico which now account for two-thirds of Chevrolet's sales worldwide. Chevrolet sells goods and services to the ultimate consumer for personal, non-business use. Chevrolet is indeed no doubt a strong franchise in the auto world. As far as pricing goes for the Chevrolet Motor Company to the consumers, they sell their cars at very reasonable prices and still have room and make decent amount of gross margins. Chevrolet Motor Company is all about setting the best prices for their vehicles performance and sex appealb but also leaving room to make a good and or reasonable profit. Many car competitors sell cars that are way overpriced and have the same capabilities and performance as many of Chevrolet's vehicles. Audi has the new S5 that was released last year and starting price for the vehicle was $45k and that didn't even include taxes, the car only disses out 355 horsepower when you can purchase the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS with 426 horsepower at an amazing $35 with taxes and a 5-10 year warranty with free maintenance. The only other Car companies that provide such a service are Volkswagen and BMW. Even with the economy at its weak state, people can still afford Chevrolet's new vehicles. When it comes to setting prices, a company has to set the price where its competition is forced to set it prices to where you have set the prices. The businesses or franchises which set prices to the customers likes are the company which makes the sale and has returning customers who come back and keep buying, which they become loyal customers. Chevrolet's plan is not to just sell their cars at great prices but, to keep the consumer happier than any other competitor could. I know so many consumers who are Chevrolet vehicle owners and never had nothing at all to criticize the Chevrolet Motor Company, a happy consumer always keeps coming back and that's what any seller wants more than anything, along with new consumers and referrals too.
