Also the information in the market show that many people want cars that are more eco friendly, in another words hybrid vehicles have become more popular and more people are purchasing them. Most companies in this modern world use the internet to introduce and show all the aspects and services of products. Many people are often busy with their children, personal lives and work so they may not have the time to come down to the Chevrolet Motor's dealership to look up a new car and its new features so they list everything on their website so it can be more convenient and be more beneficial for them and their customers. I believe that the Chevrolet Motors Company website is very effective and that would be called stickiness, stickiness is a measure of a Web site's effectiveness and the visits of time durations that customers and potential customers are on the site.

Chevrolet's Marketing Channels Part II

Chevrolet Motor Company is a pretty strong organization but it is currently in a channel conflict. A channel conflict are a clash of goals and methods between distribution channel members. All the automobile companies are fighting to be the top and the best in the business. The economy is very low right now so may car dealerships are not make the sales and the numbers that they used to. Many people foreign cars and that's why the numbers of cars sales for Chevrolet aren't going up quickly. For any company or organization to work they must use a successful inventory control system which is a method of developing and maintaining an adequate assortment of materials or products to meet a manufacturer's or a customer's demand. I would also say that Chevrolet's is also in a retailer channel because they do have services to repair and to give a consumer's vehicle maintenance and sells other products for the vehicles that are being purchased.

Chevrolet Motor Companies Developing and Managing Products II

About 4 years ago the Chevrolet Motor Company had brought out the Aveo, Cobalt, and the HHR which is a mini-van in a Detroit Car show 4 years ago. This new line have cars have not been to effective in sales, but at the car show the Camaro concept was there and caught everyone's attention. The feed back for the vehicle was amazing and went into mass production and was released this passed spring. The next new products that will be extended to Chevrolet's current product line will be these three new vehicles which are 2011 Cruze, 2011 Volt and then 2011 Spark which are Eco-friendly and are Flex-fuel vehicles. Flex fuel is a lot cheaper than the gasoline that we currently use and will decrease the need for oil overseas and slow down the pollution that are plagued with all the vehicles that we drive in America. Flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) are specially designed to run on gasoline or any blend of up to 85% ethanol (E85) which is better than regular and or any of the gas that is currently used. This is a new product that will surely catch attention of many current consumers and new ones to come. Chevrolet introduced the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro in Transformers & Transformers 2 and the feed back the company got from critics were more than impressive, this was an example of test marketing done perfectly. The Camaro is still going through its growth stage due to the poor economy, the Camaro will be in the third Transformers that will be out July 1st, 2011.

Chevrolet Motor Companies Developing and Managing Products I

The Chevrolet Motor Company is constantly developing and managing products that will always appeal to current and future consumers. The companies and corporations that always last are the ones who believe in new product strategy which is a plan that links the new product development process with the objectives of the marketing department, the business unit, and the corporation. This passed year, Chevrolet brought back an old friend to the American culture which was the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. The company stopped producing the vehicle back at 2002. The Camaro is currently starts at $25K and is priced at $30K fully loaded, when a consumer purchases any new Chevrolet with financing or leasing they will acquire a free one-year on-star equipped vehicle with free installation, this is one of the many products the Chevrolet provides for their consumers. The new and current vehicles that have come out the past four years have come with i pod ready ready cars to play the music that you enjoy to hear. There are many happy Chevrolet consumers, Chevrolet is starting to move up their sales again even though its not as fast as they would want it to be.

Chevrolet Motor Companies Product Concepts II

Chevrolet Motor Company is very infamous for its brand of vehicles. Their logo is a plus sign that has never changed. People are so used to seeing that symbol they know its the infamous Chevrolet logo, the logo is also a brand mark that cannot be spoken but just seen. Chevrolet Motor Company many years ago was just an domestic company, now as time passed their are also known as a global brand. a global brand is a brand where at least 2o percent of the product is sold outside its home country or region. I believe that Chevrolet Motor Company vehicles are built to last and very reliable and also very affordable for today's consumer.

Chevrolet Motor Company is an organization which produces nothing but consumer products. A consumer product is a product bought to satisfy an individual's personal wants. Chevrolet's vehicles can also be known as a shopping product because you can compare their vehicles to other expensive companies and come to realization that you get more in Chevrolet's vehicles for less the price than going an expensive route such as foreign vehicles like Audi and BMW. Chevrolet has a very strong and efficient product line. Even though Chevrolet has a fantastic product line there also believe in adding more products and services to an existing product line in order to compete more broadly in the vehicle or the industry the company or the organization is currently active in.

Sales Promotion and Personal Selling Pt 2

Personal selling offers numerous benefits and advantages over other forms of promotions. personal selling at times, works better than promotions depending on the customer, product and the product rating. For important sales such as real estate, planes, motor vehicles and buying other businesses, requires personal interaction between consumers and sellers. Chevrolet Motor Company is well known for its personal selling tactics, majority of the business requires face to face interactions and transactions. This is needed in order for the seller to provide the consumer with a great vehicle that is reliable, affordable, and long lasting. All Chevrolet vehicles have a complimentary one year subscription with OnStar which in the event of an accident, consumers know they can turn to their OnStar system to contact immediate emergency help. Personal selling is more effective for Chevrolet Motor Company, rather than a consumer buying products online. With more input and education of a product, personal selling provides this security.

Sales Promotion and Personal Selling Pt 1

Sales promotion is marketing communication activities, other than advertising, personal selling and public relations. Its short incentives for a company to distribute a product or service, by lowering the price of the product or service that is being distributed. Sales promotions are used as an incentive for the consumer to buy. A sales promotion that Chevrolet Motors Company has is when a consumer purchases a new vehicle they receive two thousand dollars cash back, or zero annual percentage rates for those who qualify. This is a good incentive for consumers who are looking for a deal with benefits. There are also trade -sell promotions, which are sales promotion activities targeting a marketing channel member such as a wholesaler or retailer. Another sales promotion are coupons, yet Chevrolet does not participate in this form of promotions.

Chevrolet's Advertising and Public Relations Part II

Public relations is the marketing function that evaluates public attitude, identifies areas within a organization the public maybe interested in, and executes a program of action to earn public understanding and acceptance. Chevrolet motor company using public relations to help its organization communicate with customers, suppliers, stock holders, government officials, employees and the community which it operates in. Chevrolet always has new concept cars which they display at every car show yearly. They show the new car, explain the specs of the cars and while doing this, they give a survey from consumers asking their opinion about each display model. With this, they take the information from the consumers and apply it to their goal of mass production in the event they receive high ratings on their cars. This is a form of public relations that is used to promote Chevrolet products.

Chevrolet's Advertising and Public Relations Part I

Back in 2006, Chevrolet teamed up with NBC's show The Apprentice which had a contest advertising their new 2006 Chevy Tahoe. Consumers visited a special Chevy website were they had the opportunity to arrange music clips and videos in order to create their own commercial. Consumers with the best commercial would win a new Chevy Tahoe as a reward. Unfortunately, this goal backfired due to the negative feedback towards this form of advertisement. It showed that Chevrolet did factor possible downfalls for the use of its commercials and showcase of the Tahoe. Advertising is a form of impersonal, paid communication in which the sponsor or company is identified.

Retailing Part II

Chevrolet Motor Company has many different approaches to get the consumers into the store and that is referred to as direct marketing (direct-response marketing), is techniques used to get consumers to make a purchase from their home, office, or another non-retail setting. Many vehicle companies have went on the internet so people can purchase vehicles online and have it delivered to the consumer's homes. Chevrolet has changed so much from what it used to be many years ago. In order to be a good retailer you must provide great products and services, Chevrolet has definitely reached that level of customer satisfaction. Chevrolet Motor Company definitely knows what retailing really is.

Retailing Part I

Chevrolet Motor Company has taken its retailing scene globally. They have gone outside of their environment and opened up new markets in Canada and Mexico which now account for two-thirds of Chevrolet's sales worldwide. Chevrolet sells goods and services to the ultimate consumer for personal, non-business use. Chevrolet is indeed no doubt a strong franchise in the auto world. As far as pricing goes for the Chevrolet Motor Company to the consumers, they sell their cars at very reasonable prices and still have room and make decent amount of gross margins. The company understands that charging a customer an arm and a leg is no way to make business but as long Chevrolet is reasonable and provides the goods and services that consumers want they are still in the game.

Pricing Concepts & Setting Price Part II

Chevrolet Motor Company is all about setting the best prices for their vehicles performance and sex appealb but also leaving room to make a good and or reasonable profit. Many car competitors sell cars that are way overpriced and have the same capabilities and performance as many of Chevrolet's vehicles. Audi has the new S5 that was released last year and starting price for the vehicle was $45k and that didn't even include taxes, the car only disses out 355 horsepower when you can purchase the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS with 426 horsepower at an amazing $35 with taxes and a 5-10 year warranty with free maintenance. The only other Car companies that provide such a service are Volkswagen and BMW. Even with the economy at its weak state, people can still afford Chevrolet's new vehicles. When it comes to setting prices, a company has to set the price where its competition is forced to set it prices to where you have set the prices. The businesses or franchises which set prices to the customers likes are the company which makes the sale and has returning customers who come back and keep buying, which they become loyal customers. Chevrolet's plan is not to just sell their cars at great prices but, to keep the consumer happier than any other competitor could. I know so many consumers who are Chevrolet vehicle owners and never had nothing at all to criticize the Chevrolet Motor Company, a happy consumer always keeps coming back and that's what any seller wants more than anything, along with new consumers and referrals too.

Pricing Concepts & Setting Price

Pricing Concepts are basically establishing a price for a product. Chevrolet sells many of their cars at reasonable prices compared to the competition such as Audi, BMW, etc. Most of the cars overseas begin around $30k and up. Chevrolet has made their care a lot more sporty and futuristic for the consumers. Chevrolet gives many great deals and has many promotions all the time. The Chevrolet Motor Company is a gigantic franchise which in fact is a global corporation but is also known as a huge retailer because they also sell vehicles for personal and business use as well . The vehicles that Chevrolet Motor Company sells to its customers are fuel flexible meaning that the fuel is cheaper and that the United States doesn't have to go out the country to get oil overseas. This solves the oil crisis that the U.S. is currently going through. The fuel is cheaper and a lot more Eco friendly then the gas we currently use in this point in time. Chevrolet knows that they have to set prices which will interest people but also have very attractive vehicles that everyone will enjoy and like. Chevrolet Motor Company is all about appeasing its customers. Chevrolet also offers a free maintenance and service for your car as long as you are a Chevrolet Motor Company consumer.

Business Marketing Part I

Business Marketing is the marketing of goods and services to individuals and organizations for purposes other than personal consumption. Chevrolet feels that their vehicles are built to last and are very efficient at the same time at an reasonable price. The auto industry is an business to business environment. Chevrolet sees that repeat business is an very delicate and important entity when it comes to business. Chevrolet sells extremely reliable automobiles where it does not cost you anything to service them because most of the elements in the car are serviced with a factory warranty that will replace any damaged part of the vehicle that is caused naturally and not in an accident or damage intentionally by the owner. Chevrolet gets its parts for their vehicles from General Motors, then pays the employees to build the vehicle, then sells it to the consumer. Each party is very important because you need all the wheels to work together to have a business or company running on the same page because if you do not the business or company is in for disaster. Chevrolet is part of an strategic alliance with General Motors which are one of the most successful businesses in the whole world. Chevrolet also believes in commitment and that's why good businesses last even during economic hardships.

Cosumer Decision Making Part I

Chevrolet Motor Company is well aware of consumer decision making, the company understands that their company needs recognition from customers, media, etc. The company also understands that the salesman in the company must be aware of all the vehicles specs and performance, and also to list it to the public so they can access it easily. The company also understands that their product must fulfill the customers overall desires and or needs. People tend to buy things that they see other people with. Not to get off topic but many people purchase Nike and Jordan sneakers to play basketball because they see that's what many people wear to play the sport. So cars work almost the same way. Chevrolet makes themselves very accessible to many people and list all their information online, they also put many of the vehicles on numerous commercials and movies to get themselves out there. The best way to satisfy a consumer is to do it and another to get a consumer satisfied is to state how your product is the best and what the product is capable of doing. For example all of Chevrolet's new vehicles come with on-star system for emergency purposes or accidents of any kind. Many cars lack this because you have to pay extra to get this in your vehicle when on-star is already equipped with this service to ensure your life is safe but easier as well.

Chevrolet Motors Company's Global Marketing Part 2

Chevrolet Motor Company has began a exporting trade for years now. Chevrolet has factories almost all throughout the globe. Many companies move their factories overseas to make lots of capital but also do it with as minimal overhead as possible. Often labor is very inexpensive overseas because many natives are desperate for job opportunities. In many countries the natives who reside there are not properly educated so companies tend to pay them less and get the job done in bulk and get a larger return on the product after the purchase is made. Many companies go overseas because of this but, I feel Chevrolet did it for those same reasons but also wants their product to been known throughout the globe. When other nations know of your product and want it that's when you know that your company is either the best or one of the best. That's what I believe that Chevrolet Motors Company tends to achieve back then and now on.

Chevrolet Motors Company's Global Marketing

Chevrolet Motor Company has went Globally and this year has made over $2.2 million dollars in sales overseas. According to research that I have done, Chevrolet Motor Companies are located in roughly over 50 nations. One of the larger Chevrolet Motor Company Manufacturers company in Shanghi, China. There are many other manufacturer factories all over Europe as well. Chevrolet sees that the more nations that they can spread their business the more money the corporation could make. Last year, Chevrolet Motor Company acquired approximately 24.4 percent of the auto sales business in Europe which isn't bad for overseas business, in the united states Chevrolet hit 42.6 percent of auto sales in North America. Chevrolet is progressing somewhat better this year even to spite the economic crisis that many nations are in currently.

Social Responsiblity, Ethics & Marketing Environment of Chevrolet Motors Part 2

When it comes to Marketing Environment any and every company must know how to set a price on a product, where and when to distribute the product. The company must set up some prromotions for the product and also create tactical price strategies that will not seem unreasonable to the consumer. Chevrolet Motor Company has came out with promotions for when you purchase a vehicle the interest could be zero percent depending on how much money the consumer puts down onto the vehicle of purchase. Chevrolet Motors Company is doing what they can to get customers into their vehicles, there are no companies large and powerful enough to create major change in the external environment. Chevrolet Motors Company is giving the best deal that they can to better the consumer, setting car prices at reasonable prices and giving the vehicles the options as possible.

Strategic Planning of Chevrolet Motors Part 2

in 2010 Chevrolet Motors Company will introduce another old friend from the past that many Americans grow up to know and love but, with a new look and a more powerful engine the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette. The 2011 Corvette was also shown in the hit movie Transformers 2 as well as the Camaro, Aveos Coupe and Sedan. Chevrolet Motor Company has even got into the hybrid business and they are doing pretty well in the section of business. Many customers purchase hybrids on the fact that they are great on gas and are also electric. Chevrolet Motor Company are going into many new avenues to sell what they people want. During the Clunkers time frame their sales percentage increased to a strong and impressive 250%. They promoted the idea of bringing your old car and receiving $5000 cash for it and walking out in a brand new car. Chevrolet is even thinking about opening a General Motors Manufacturers Company in Europe with the next three years, that's brilliant I believe. American cars are starting to get quite popular overseas.

History & Overview of Marketing Part 2

It is Chevrolet Motor Company's main goal, to come out with vehicles that are more appealing abd exotic to everyone. Not only Chevrolet has a brand new exotic car lineup but they also have cars that are more fuel efficient and also eco friendly to better society. Chevrolet recently announced that they have free car service whenever the customers car needs to be fixed and or serviced. This is the same type of customer satisfaction that BWM also provides for their customers. Chevrolet Motors Company has also made their cars a lot more affordable and luxurious like many other European car manufacturers like Audi, BMW, etc. They are also extending Chevrolet manufacturers company by the middle of next year in Detroit to increase production and have about 8000 new jobs for people in the community.

Social Responsiblity, Ethics & Marketing Environment of Chevrolet Motors

The Chevrolet Motor Company believes in satisfying their customers tremendously. Chevrolet Motor Company is all about social responsibility, not only they have made all their vehicles fuel efficient and eco friendly they have also offered free matience when you purchase a vehicle from them. Chevrolet feels that as long as they can appease it's customers, more people will buy cars and gives plenty of referrals. Cause of this Chevrolet Motors Company will have steady residual income because of the satisfaction of all the customers. When it comes to Market Environment it deals with the external and internal of a company. The external would be targeting the customers and satisfying them and the internal would be the finances, management, and employees of the company. During the clunkers bill that President Barack Obama, Chevrolet business increased by 250% even to spie the harsh economic times that we all are enduring. Sometimes a company just has to change overall with the times in order to last and be successful.

Strategic Planning of Chevrolet Motors

Chevrolet Motors Company strategic planning is to bring a line of new exotic looking vehicles that are not only fast but more fuel efficient as well. This year the new 2010 Camaro was introduced in the movies Transformers & Transformers 2, the planning for this car was indeed great. Chevrolet had one of the robots as a the Camaro in both movies. Even with the poor economy Chevrolet are still selling cars and its proving that Americans still drive and love their cars. The Chevrolet Motor used the Transformers movies to market itself and it was a very big success. During the next couple of years, Chevrolet sees themselves as selling many of the new upcoming vehicles such as the equinox, transverse for the better of the economy, environment, and for the people.

The History of Chevrolet Motors

The Chevrolet Motor Company was created in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet, William Little and Edwin Campbell, with William Durant's son in law . The headquarters is in Detroit. In 1916, Durant announced that Chevrolet owned approximately 54.5 percent of GM's outstanding shares and takes over the GM presidency from Charles W. Nash, who had been GM president from 1912 to 1916. During 1918 General Motors purchases the operating assets Of Chevrolet Motor Company in May. In 1924 Chevrolet introduced its first six liter engine for use in commercial vehicles. This specific engine was known as "the cast iron wonder" for its durability. During the 50's the v-8 engine in trucks were introduced and so was the infamous "camaro" in 1967, within that time frame Chevrolet began to create six passenger sedans and trucks. The 1984 Chevrolet Corvette is introduced, with the car's first major styling change in 15 years. In 2005 Chevrolet began to create and come out with its Ecotec engine family cars.
